SR5不对低版本兼容？

为了装T-Splines 2.0升级到了SR5，但是被用SR5打开过的模型文件，再到SR4等低版本打开时竟然提示说错误的低版本：

请问是怎么回事？:bump

google了一下，在mcneel.com的newsgroup里找到了答案，原来是Vray高低版本不兼容的问题：

The newer version is the source of the issue, and Renee was right that
material changes are one of the things that are at the root of the
problem.  In order to get around it, I would first export all of the
important V-Ray info (options, materials) if you don't already have it,
so that you can reimport things later.  The you'll want to save as, but
put a dash in front of save (it will look like -SaveAs ) and that will
call the command line version of save as.  One of the options there is
to Save Plugin Data.  Make sure that option is answer is no, and save a
copy of your file.  Now that file should be able to be opened on the
machine with the older version of V-ray.  Once that file is open,
reimport what you can from the settings you saved in the original file,
and recreate what you can't import.  Let me know if you need any further
information.

似乎解决方法是将vray的设置导出，然后在存储模型文件时选择“仅保存几何图形”，去除vray的附带设置，然后就可以在低版本vray的rhino中打开，最后再将vray的设置导入。
但实际操作中，高版本vray的材质设置导入低版本后，依旧会出现invalid minor version的错误，无法导入。:bump

不是模型文件的问题，之前一直用SR4做模型，但凡是被SR5编辑过的文件，再用SR4（SR2也试过）就打不开了。
换不同的机子也是一样无法打开。:bump

貌似没遇到类似问题，Rhino4的文件连Rhino3 都可以打开，相同版本之间应该完全没问题。不过Rhino5暂时不支持被Rhino4打开

真是挺奇怪的，开来只好装回SR4了，因为身边还是用SR4的人多。

J大，你说的RHINO4的文件RHINO3能打开，是用RHINO4另存成RHINO3的文件吧？

当然是说另存为3的文件了

Rhino3 可以直接开启Rhino4的文件，不用另存，类似PS一样

一般软件都是不向上兼容的,也就是说sr4可能不会兼容sr5的.

尤其还是有其他的插件,就更不好说了.
