| • Compare Models - tool to geometrically compare two files or two selections. This tool is useful to find the differences between two versions of the same piece.
Now the algorithm is improved and the interface is more integrated in the Rhinoceros interfaces. In RhinoMold 3.0 the comparation tools consisted of 4 icons, now it is all integrated in one dock window. |
| • Dynamic Draft Angle- this is a tool from the high-level CAD systems. The user can move the mold vector in real time and analyze the dynamic draft angle of a model, and define the minimum angle. This angle is relative to the engrave that is applied to the mold.
This new dialog is more compact than the older versions. |
| • Compute Weight - computes the weight of a 3D model depending on the plastic material density. In this version we have improved the common plastic library. This library is shared between other commands of RhinoMold like Shrinkage,...
The dialog is dockable. |
| • Dynamic Section - this is a new tool of this version. It is very useful to analyse the model.
The tool creates a visual section and allows the user to move and orient the plane dynamically, define an origin point of the plane and create a real section. |
| • Dynamic Thickness- this is a new tool of this version. It is very useful to analyse the thickness of the model.
When the user sets the cursor on a object the program dynamically shows the thickness. When the user clicks, the program creates a note. |
| • Dynamic Rules- this is an improved version of this tool. It is very useful to analyse the model. This is a high-level CAD software tool that allows to measure a 3D model faster. Select the model and show a dynamic rule in XY, ZX and ZY. You can then adapt the precision dynamically. In this new version the dialog is more compacted. |
| • Partition tools- It is a new tool of this version. We have added all the partition tools in a dock window. Now it works with solids, surfaces and digitalizes.
In Split, the user can active the Divide surfaces option, and the program splits all the surfaces if the partition curves run over them.
In this new version, RhinoMold can create automatically the partition surfaces. |
| • Rectangular Insert - this tool creates an insert in the cavity and core. You can change this by clicking on Both and selecting Z pos (positive) and/or Z neg. In this new version, you can create the face of the insert with a draft to make the adjustment easier. |
| • Cylindrical Insert - this tool creates an insert in the cavity and core. You can change this by clicking on Both and selecting Z pos (positive) and/or Z neg. In this new version, you can create the insert with a draft to make the adjustment easier. |
