Hi all

** PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE **

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Beta versions should be production ready but may not have all the features or a final user interface.
Rhino 4.0 users are encouraged to download and try this Beta release of the production quality renderer - Brazil r/s 2.0 for Rhino.

Brazil r/s 2.0 Beta 6 is now available from http://download.mcneel.com/brazil/2.0/beta

New Features: This release fixes some critical file loading bugs in SR5.

Rhino versions supported:  Brazil requires a Rhino 4.0 CD key on the download page.  Beta testing Brazil r/s is limited to Rhino 4.0 users, and Brazil on Rhino 3.0 is no longer supported.  Service Release 1 or later is required to install Brazil and can be downloaded from http://www.rhino3d.com/download.htm

Notes:  This is the current Beta release of Brazil r/s 2.0 for Rhino.  The product is substantially complete and includes some documentation.  However, there are still features to be added, most notably the missing atmospheric/volumetric environments.  We expect these to appear fairly early in the beta cycle - probably within the next month or so.

Beta Cycle: Beta releases of Brazil will appear approximately every 2 weeks.

20071019: Public Beta 6  (expires 31st December 2007)

Features:

- Updated Brazil API to build 1394
- ClearRdkCaches command added to clear texture and preview caches.

Bug Fixes:

- Brazil Glass filter color and absorption color texturing did not work correctly.
- Certain materials show up black when reloaded from older models.
- Small black spots when using the default light no longer appear.
- Crash bug when using GLSL plug-in and Brazil at the same time.
